Our Fan earrings are a limited edition release, we only create these beauties a couple of times per year.

Hand-carved from Douglas Creek Pounamu, a South Westland Serpentinite from deep in the Haast mountains. 

She has magnificent translucent glassy green translucent tones set in a smoky base stone with shimmers of gold pyrite inclusions, you can see the depth and layers when you stare into the stone.

About Serpentinite:

A rich and varied stone, serpentinite is one of three pounamu stones used in traditional carving, and one of the most recognisable. A metamorphic stone formed from antigorite, lizardite and chrysotile, this wide mix of minerals produce a stone of immense complexity, and individual pieces can contain colours ranging from deep moss green to aquatic blue, with gold, orange, and brown highlights.

Healing Properties:

A healing stone, serpentinite replenishes and restores energies within the body and creates a protective field around its wearer. Sometimes porous, serpentinite can absorb oils from your skin and its colour may deepen over time - this should not be seen as a flaw but as part of the stone’s natural evolution with its wearer.

A magnificent, fiery blend of orange and golden-yellow New Zealand beach quartz, unlike anything we’ve ever collected before.

This rare variation holds striking tones and a bold crystalline texture — large, light-catching crystals that glow like a sunset burning across the horizon.

Hand-gathered by us on the remote South Westland coastline around 3–4 years ago, this stone is truly one of a kind. We haven’t found anything like her since.
