A stunning Top of the South Mix Stone.

The Nelson area is one of New Zealand’s richest for minerals and this beautiful semi-precious rock and mineral combinations.

This is one of them, with inclusions of Nephrite Jade, diopside and chromium, she is one of the hardest stones we have carved and showcases these gorgeous fluorescent green areas amongst an almost marble like white and black base.

About Grossular Garnet

 Grossular garnets are rarely dark in colour. they have distinct internal swirls (from diopside crystals) that pressent in shades of White, grey, yellow-green, shades of green, brown, pink, orange. Another variety, containing some water, is called hydrogrossular and was first identified at the Roding River near Nelson. It is also found on the beach near Orepuki in Southland.

Grossular Garnet is a form of Green Garnet and is believed to help in removing toxins from the body and in treating disorders of the heart and lungs. It is also said to help in cases of frigidity and can enhance our levels of fertility.

A gorgeous mix of Kyanite Fuchsite and oxidised minerals throughout.

She has blue-green and orange tones with standout black iron inclusions.

An incredibly rare stone, Aotea comes from a single river in Westland - the only place in the world where it can be found. Comprised of fuchsite, kyanite, and quartz, Aotea is also known as bluestone due to its brilliant hues that can range from icy blue to deep turquoise. Softer than pounamu, Aotea is generally regarded as a feminine stone, and frequently contains a gem-like glitter due to the mica contained within the quartz.

A grounding stone, Aotea activates the heart and throat chakras and is said to release the inner goddess of its wearer.

A stunning Golden Bay stone they call it 'Obay Stone" named after the man who found it.

An absolute standout Muscovite stone with some gorgeous Fuchsite and oxidised minerals throughout.

She has a pearly texture of vibrant greens, and rustic tones and although dense is also Translucent.
