Fossilised Shell rock Toki - Small/Mid

A beautiful example of our New Zealand Fossilised Shell Rock with natural indents included.

This beautiful Toki (adze ) pendant has been carved and hand sanded and bound by us in this ancient 22 million-year-old piece of New Zealand. The fossils were excavated from a rural area in Waimate on the South Islands' east coast.

This is one of two east coast stones we work with ( all others are from the west)Our other east coast stone is our vibrant  Otago pink rhodonite

About Waimate Fossilised shell rock

• Dated by geologists at 22 million years old this historic rock is just soo unique. The fossils were excavated from a rural area in Waimate on the South Islands' east coast, and from there were cut and created into beautiful Taonga (treasure) by us ladies here at Simply Stone West Coast.
